Vikings’ first practice at new stadium, Zimmer says team looks good (AUDIO)

Head coach Mike Zimmer says his team looked good at their first-ever practice today at the new U-S Bank Stadium, and the next step is to get the crowd going when the Vikes host San Diego in Sunday’s preseason game at noon.  Zimmer says,  “That’s what I’m hoping for the most. I’m hope our crowd is extremely loud every time. That part is a great home field advantage and the more that we can disrupt the opponent’s offense, it’d be better for our football team.”  Zimmer says during today’s practice the transparent roof allowed plenty of sunshine in, and open doors at the west end of stadium let a little breeze blow through.
