(Eagan, MN) — The Minnesota Vikings were on the field yesterday for the first full team practice of training camp. The Vikings went through 90 minutes of work at the T-C-O Performance Center in Eagan.
The quarterback battle between returnee J.J. McCarthy and free-agent addition Kyler Murray took center stage as one of the biggest position battles of camp.
Minnesota opens the 2026 exhibition season with a road game at the New York Giants on Saturday, August 15th.
Minnesota will be back on the practice field again today (Thursday) with the session only open to the media. The first practice open to the public comes up on Saturday.
