(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Vikings have a Christmas Day matinee today at U-S Bank Stadium, welcoming the N-F-C North Division rival Detroit Lions. The 7-8 Vikings are riding a three-game winning streak, but will have a new quarterback starting today. Number-two signal-caller Max Brosmer (BROZE-mer) will start in place of the injured J-J McCarthy. Brosmer relieved McCarthy last week and helped lead the Purple to a 16-13 road win over the New York Giants. Star receiver Justin Jefferson says he was impressed with Brosmer’s composure and command in the huddle. Today’s game kicks off at 3:30 P-M in Minneapolis.
