Minnesota Vikings starting left guard Nick Easton suffered a season-ending broken right ankle during Saturday’s 16-0 victory over the Green Bay Packers.
Easton was injured late in the first quarter. He will require surgery to repair the ankle, according to Minnesota coach Mike Zimmer.
Easton, 25, started 12 games for Minnesota this season.
Jeremiah Sirles took over in Easton’s spot.
Long snapper Kevin McDermott departed with a shoulder injury in the second quarter and will undergo an MRI exam.
