Vikings kick off against Houston; no Diggs

October 9, 2016 By Minnesota News Network

usbankstadium13First-place teams have kicked off Sunday in Minnesota as the Houston Texans are taking on the unbeaten Vikings at US Bank Stadium.  The Texans are atop the AFC South at 3-and-1, winning home games over the Bears, Chiefs and Titans while losing at New England in Week Three.  The NFC North-leading Vikings are one of just three undefeated teams left despite losing starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and running back Adrian Peterson to injuries.  Minnesota has posted wins over the Titans, Packers, Panthers and most recently the Giants on “Monday Night Football.”  The Vikings are 3-and-0 all-time against the Texans. Vikings receiver Stefon Diggs and tackle Andre Smith are both out for this game.
