Vikings lose late lead against Lions again, fall 16-13 in Detroit

Matt Prater’s 40-yard field goal as time expired gave the Lions a 16-13 victory over the Vikings and sole possession of first place in the NFC North. The winning field goal was set up when Darius  Slay intercepted a Sam Bradford pass at the Vikings’ 33-yard line and returned it to the 20 with 30 seconds left. Detroit has won six of seven to move to 7-4 despite trailing in the fourth quarter in  each of its victories. Minnesota fell to 6-5 after winning its first five contests.
