The Vikings will open the season on the road in Chicago for a Week 1 Monday Night Football matchup against the Bears at 7:15 p.m. CT on Sept. 8. It will be the third consecutive year the Vikings and Bears have faced off on MNF and the sixth time they have met in Week 1. With a win in the season opener, the Vikings would secure a six-game win streak in Chicago for the first time in franchise history.
In Week 2, Minnesota will host its home opener against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football at 7:20 p.m. CT. It will be the first time the teams have played each other on Sunday night and the third SNF home opener in team history. It will also be just the second time the Vikings will play back-to-back prime time games to open a season. In 1981, the team faced Tampa Bay on Saturday night in Week 1 and Oakland on Monday night in Week 2.
The Vikings will host the Cincinnati Bengals at noon CT in Week 3. Minnesota, which is 6-0 all-time against Cincinnati at home, remains undefeated against just three teams at home – Cincinnati, Baltimore (2-0) and Houston (3-0).
The Vikings will become the first team in NFL history to play consecutive international games in different countries when they travel to Dublin to face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 4 and London to play the Cleveland Browns in Week 5. Both kickoffs are set for 8:30 a.m. CT on NFL Network. Minnesota, which is undefeated in regular-season international games and leads the NFL with four regular-season international wins, will be the first team in NFL history to play multiple international games as the designated visitor.
Following the team’s bye in Week 6, the Vikings will return home to host the Super Bowl LIX champion Philadelphia Eagles at noon CT in Week 7. It will be the Eagles first trip to Minnesota since 2019.
For the second-straight year, the Vikings will play on Thursday Night Football in Week 8 when they go to Los Angeles to play the Chargers at 7:15 p.m. CT. It will be the first time the two teams face one another on TNF.
In Week 9, the Vikings will travel to Detroit to face the Lions on Sunday, Nov. 2, before returning to Minnesota for a Week 10 contest against the Baltimore Ravens and their second matchup against the Bears in Week 11. All three games will take place at noon CT.
The Vikings will head on the road for Week 12 at Green Bay at noon CT, and Week 13 at Seattle at 3:05 p.m. CT. With a victory in Green Bay, the Vikings would boast a three-game win streak against the Packers for the first time since the 2008-09 seasons. It would also be the first time the Vikings have won three-straight games on the road against the Packers since the 1991-93 seasons (1991-92 in Green Bay, 1993 in Milwaukee).
In Week 14, the Vikings will look to extend their three-game win streak at home against the Commanders, having not dropped a game against Washington in Minnesota since the 2007 season.
The Vikings will play their final two road games in Weeks 15 and 16 when they travel to Dallas for a Sunday Night Football showdown against the Cowboys on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 7:20 p.m. CT before heading to MetLife Stadium to face the New York Giants on Sunday, Dec. 21 at noon CT. Minnesota is looking to extend their regular-season win streak against the Giants to six games, dating back to the 2015 season.
The regular season will cap off with NFC North battles in Weeks 17 and 18. The Vikings will host the Detroit Lions at 3:30 p.m. CT on Christmas Day at U.S. Bank Stadium. Minnesota is 1-3 all-time on Christmas Day, most recently falling to the New Orleans Saints in 2020 on the road. In Week 18, the Green Bay Packers will make their annual trip to Minnesota, marking the first time since 2015 the Vikings and Packers will conclude their regular seasons with one another. The date and time will be announced at a later date.
The Vikings will host the Houston Texans on Saturday, Aug. 9 at 3 p.m. CT and the New England Patriots on Saturday, Aug. 16 at noon CT in the preseason. Minnesota will conclude the preseason against the Tennessee Titans on Friday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. CT at Nissan Stadium.
