Vikings tame the Bears

(Minneapolis, MN)  —  Minnesota quarterback Teddy Bridgewater threw four touchdown passes and ran in for another as the Vikings bashed the Chicago Bears at T-C-F Bank Stadium yesterday, 38-17. Bridgewater finished 17-of-20 for 231 yards for a quarterback rating of 154.4. Stefon Diggs had a pair of T-D catches for the Vikings, who remain one game behind Green Bay for first place in the N-F-C North. The 9-and-5 Vikings currently hold the second Wild Card spot in the N-F-C. Jay Cutler was 26-of-37 for 231 yards, two touchdowns, an interception and a fumble for Chicago, which slipped to 5-and-9 with its third straight loss. Matt Forte had six catches for 57 yards and a score while running for 47 yards in defeat.
