Governor Tim Walz questions the prediction of fellow Governor Mike Parson, that Missouri in the next two weeks will be able to do nearly 10-thousand COVID-19 tests per day. Walz says the governors of Wisconsin, Michigan and Maryland all tell him the shortage of test kits is hampering a clear picture of the extent of the COVID pandemic. Walz says, “I hope Governor Parson is right, but at this point in time I see no indication.”
Minnesota officials are restricting tests for COVID-19 to hospital patients, health care workers and residents of long-term care facilities.
