The National Weather Service says a storm expected tonight into tomorrow in Minnesota could be the earliest snowfall with accumulations in eight years. Forecasters say far northern counties could get three to six inches with up to 10 inches in spots, plus blowing snow and low visibility. The rest of the state, including the Twin Cities, could see one to three inches of snow with wind gusts from 40 to 50 miles a hour. The Weather Service warns power outages are possible in Duluth and surrounding areas as snow builds up on trees and power lines.
