The Minnesota Wild today announced the team will have a booth at the 2021 Minnesota State Fair located in the North End area of the Fairgrounds on the southeast corner of Underwood Street and Murphy Avenue. The 7,500 square foot space will feature Wild merchandise, an interactive street hockey rink open to ages 12 and under and a shooting station open to all ages.
Select Minnesota Wild ticket packs will be on-sale during the fair including early access to opening night tickets.
Each day at the state fair 1,000 Wild beach balls will be given away at the Wild information tent. A total of 500 between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and another 500 between 3 – 9 p.m. The giveaway is available to all ages. Limit one per person while supplies last.
In addition, the team announced the following events will take place at the Wild booth this year:
• Thursday, August 26 – Minnesota Wild team dog, Celly, will appear at 3 p.m.
• Monday, August 30 – Celebrity street hockey game featuring local sports media personalities at 1 p.m.
• Saturday, September 4 – Minnesota Wild NHL Winter Classic jersey will be unveiled at 10 a.m.
