(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild got back to work on Tuesday at TRIA Rink in St. Paul as they gear up for the resumption of their schedule. The Wild and the N-H-L have been off since February 9th as the league paused for the Four Nations Face-Off in Montreal and Boston. While the majority of the team skated, the U.S. contingent of Matt Boldy, Brock Faber, Bill Guerin, John Hynes and some of the training staff are still in Boston for Thursday’s finale against Canada and will meet the team in Detroit on Friday. Joel Eriksson Ek, Jonas Brodin and Filip Gustavsson also are off for a couple of days after helping Team Sweden beat the Americans on Monday night. With Hynes still dealing with the international team, Wild associate coach Jack Capuano ran Tuesday’s practice. Jakub Lauko and Kirill Kaprizov did not skate but Liam Ohgren, Devin Shore and Dylan Ferguson did after getting called up from Iowa. The Wild will be in Detroit for an 11:30 A-M puck drop against the Red Wings on Saturday morning.
