(St. Paul, MN) — Matt Dumba scored 2:34 into overtime as the Wild beat the Blackhawks 3-2 in preseason action. Wednesday night Wild prospect Adam Beckman scored in overtime to sink the Blues then one night later it was Dumba’s turn. Joel Eriksson Ek and Alex Goligoski also scored for Minnesota as they won their third straight – all on home ice. The Wild finish the preseason on Saturday in Chicago with a 7:30 P-M puck drop from the United Center.

(St. Paul, MN) — Prior to Thursday’s game against Chicago the Wild reduced their training camp roster to 26 players. The team reassigned forwards Mitchell Chaffee, Joseph Cramarossa, Connor Dewar, Nick Swaney and Dominic Turgeon and defensemen Joe Hicketts and Jon Lizotte to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League. The team also placed goaltender Andrew Hammond and forward Kyle Rau on waivers. They will be assigned to Iowa on Friday if they clear waivers.
