March 30, 2021 By kevin.falness@mnnradio.com

(San Jose, CA) — Erik Karlsson scored in the eighth round of the shootout to lift the Sharks over the Wild 4-3 on Monday night in San Jose. The Wild got goals from Marcus Johansson, Nick Bonino and Kevin Fiala in regulation but in the end it was the Sharks that came away with the extra point. Cam Talbot got his fourth consecutive start as he made 36 saves to see his three game win streak come to an end. Despite the loss, the Wild still have won 15 of their last 21 games.

Kevin Fiala’s goal tied the game at 3-3 at 9:48 of the 3rd period. It was his 10th of the season as described by Joe O’Donnell on the Wild Radio Network
