(Buffalo, NY) — Filip Gustavsson made 39 saves as the Wild pitched a 1-0 shutout in Buffalo. Kirill Kaprizov scored the only goal just seven minutes into the contest and it proved to be the game winner. Kaprizov leads the Wild with 14 goals and also has points in 12 straight road games. Gustavsson notches his second shutout of the season and eighth of his career. The Wild won despite a late scratch for defenseman Jonas Brodin to an upper body injury. The shorthanded Wild were also without Mats Zuccarello, Marat Khusnutdinov and Jakub Lauko. Minnesota broke up a two game losing streak and improve to 14-4-4 on the season and also improve to 10-1-3 on the road. They host the Blackhawks on Friday afternoon for a 1 P-M puck drop.
