Wild Clip Caps in D.C.

(Washington, DC) — The Minnesota Wild scored the first four goals of the game in their 5-1 win over the Capitals in D.C. Joel Eriksson Ek opened the scoring in the first period, and he had another goal in the second to lead the Wild. Tyson Jost, Marcus Foligno, and Nicolas Deslauriers also scored for Minnesota. The Wild are on a ten-game point streak. Garnet Hathaway had Washington’s only goal. The Capitals have lost four of their last six contests.
