The Dallas Stars outlasted the Minnesota Wild in a busy second period, battling to a 3-2 win in Saint Paul last night. All five of the games goals came in the second period, with Patrick Eaves tying the game at two before Jason Spezza scored the go-ahead goal. Antti Niemi made 28 saves in the win.
Charlie Coyle and Jason Pominville scored in the second for the Wild, both tallies gave Minnesota the lead. Devan Dubnyk had 19 saves in the loss.
The Stars now lead the best-of-seven series by a three-games-to-one margin, with Game Five set for tomorrow night in Dallas at 8:30 P-M.
