ST. LOUIS — Jaden Schwartz scored a power-play goal late in the second period to send St. Louis to a win over Minnesota and to a 3-0 lead in their first-round Western Conference playoff series.
Jake Allen, who stopped 74 of 76 Wild shots in the first two games on the road, made 40 saves, including 19 in the third period, as the Blues once again stymied the high-scoring Minnesota offense that finished second in the NHL in the regular season with 266 goals.
Colton Parayko and Alex Steen also scored for the Blues, while Charlie Coyle scored for the Wild.
