MONTREAL — Jason Zucker recorded a hat trick — all in the third period — and Devan Dubnyk made 41 saves as Minnesota snapped a three-game slide.
Dubnyk recorded his first shutout of the season and 25th of his career. Zucker scored a short-handed goal with 17:14 left, had an even-strength 8:37 later and added an empty-netter.
Charlie Lindgren stopped 32 shots in losing for the first time in six starts for Montreal. The Canadiens had a three-game winning streak snapped.
