(Washington, D.C.)  —  The Minnesota Wild begin a two game trip east tonight when they travel to D.C. to face the Washington Captials.  Minnesota is coming off a 5-3 win over the Predators on New Years Eve led by Marco Rossi who scored twice and added an assist.  The Wild have won three of their last four and still sit in second place in the Central Division.  The Caps were in action as well on Tuesday night and they beat the Bruins for a fourth win in six games.  Their captain is Alex Ovechken and he’s scored 17 goals in just 21 games.  He’s currently second in all time goals in the N-H-L with 870 – now 24 behind Wayne Gretzky for number one.  Puck drops at 6 P-M tonight from Washington.
