(St. Paul, MN) — Dallas forward John Klingberg scored 2:39 into overtime to lift the Stars past the slumping Minnesota Wild last night in St. Paul, 4-3. Grand Rapids native Alex Goligoski tallied in the first period for the Wild. The former Golden Gopher standout was playing in his home state. Kari Lehtonen made 37 saves in the victory for Dallas. Former Gopher Erik Haula, Justin Fontaine and Mikko Koivu scored for the Wild, who had a 2-1 lead after the first period. Minnesota has lost six straight games and 11 of the last 12 overall. Darcy Kuemper permitted all four goals on 30 shots in the setback. The Wild host Washington tomorrow night.
