Thomas Vanek and Mikael Granlund (me-KYLE GRAN-lund) both scored in the second period for Minnesota, which has lost two in-a-row since a four-game winning streak. Devan Dubnyk (DOOB-nik) allowed all three goals on 31 shots in the setback. The Wild play at Washington on Friday evening. The Capitals lost to Montreal on Wednesday.
