Wild Nip Coyotes Again

(St. Paul, MN)  —  Jordan Greenway deflected in a goal with 7:49 remaining for the eventual winner as the Wild edged the Coyotes 3-2 at Xcel Energy Center.  Zach Parise had a goal and an assist and Kevin Fiala scored for the fourth time in six games for Minnesota, which had just finished a four-game West Coast Swing.

Wild winger Kevin Fiala has four goal this season – all coming in the last six games. Fiala started the scoring in the win on Thursday over Arizona.

The Wild were tied for an N-H-L low 13 points entering the day amid a road-heavy early schedule. They are 4-1-1 at home. Devan Dubnyk made 27 saves for Minnesota. Conor Garland and Lawson Crouse scored for Arizona, which came back twice to the tie the game. Antti Raanta stopped 31 shots.  It was the second time in six days that the Wild edged the Coyotes.  They beat them 4-3 at Gila River Arena on Saturday night as well.  The Wild finish their brief two game home stand on Saturday afternoon when they host the Carolina Hurriances at 1 p.m. from Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
