Wild Off Through Weekend; NHL Pulls Out of Olympics

(St. Paul, MN)  —  While the Wild were supposed to play the Red Wings tonight in St. Paul instead get an extended break for the holidays.  Tuesday, the N-H-L announced the season would pause through Sunday with the schedule resuming on Monday.  The Wild have had three of their last four games postponed.  As of now they’re scheduled to play on Monday in Winnipeg.  Their next game after that is the Winter Classic on January 1st from Target Field.

The Wild will face the Blues Jan 1 at Target Field in the Winter Classic.

The N-H-L also announced yesterday, along with the N-H-L’s players association, that the N-H-L will not participate in the Winter Olympics coming up from China.
