(St. Paul, MN)  —  The Minnesota Wild take the ice today at TRIA Rink in St. Paul as they drop the puck on training camp.  Storylines to watch include star winger Kirill Kaprizov.  He’ll become an unrestricted free agent next July 1st if the Wild are unable to extend him.  He’s expected in camp as Wild general manager Bill Guerin continues to find common ground with the Kaprizov camp.  It’s also an opportunity for young players in the organization to cement their place in the lineup – including defensemen Zeev Buium and David Jiricek, goaltender Jesper Wallsted and Russian forward Danila Yurov.  The Wild will be in Winnipeg for the first of six preseason games on Sunday afternoon at 4 P-M.  The regular season opens on October 9th in St. Louis while the first home game is two nights later against the Blue Jackets.
