(Los Angeles, CA) — Minnesota Wild rookie Kirill Kaprizov made a splash in his N-H-L debut as he scored the overtime winner in a 4-3 win over the Kings in Los Angeles last night. The Wild rallied from a 3-1 deficit with a pair of third period goals by Victor Rask and Marcus Foligno to force the extra session. Kaprizov capped a three-point night with his first N-H-L goal to help the Wild capture the extra point in the standings. He became only the third rookie in league history to score a game-winning goal in O-T in his debut. Cam Talbot made 31 saves in his Wild debut as his new team wins the opener. The same two teams will meet on Saturday night at Staples Center for an 8 P-M puck drop.
