(Los Angeles, CA) — The Wild got back on the ice for the first time in two weeks and fell flat in a 4-0 shut out loss to the Kings. The Wild last played on February 2nd but their season was put on hold due to a Covid-19 outbreak on the team. While the team returned to action a number of regulars are still in the NHL’s COVID protocol and were unavailable for Tuesday night against the Kings. So an inexperienced team fell victim to a Kings game that got 28 saves from Jonathan Quick who posted his 53 career shutout. The Wild road trip continues on Thursday in Anaheim.
