(St. Paul, MN) — Free Agency begins this morning at 11 A-M in the National Hockey League and the Minnesota Wild should be rather busy. The Wild are on the prowl for a top line center and their main target is said to be Detroit captain Dylan Larkin who has requested a trade. Beyond that though, the Wild still need to fill in holes left by wingers Marcus Johansson and Mats Zuccarello – both played top six minutes last year – along with Vladimir Tarasenko. All three are unrestricted free agents and if none return those positions and offensive production would need to be replaced. Johansson has already said he’s not returning as he plans to finish his playing career in Sweden. The Wild did make a move last night though, signing forward Bobby Brink to a one-year $2.75 million contract. Brink was part of the trade that sent David Jiricek to Philly on March 6th.
