(St. Paul, MN) — The Wild trailed for nearly the entire game in a 5-1 loss to the Calgary Flames at the Xcel Energy Center. Flames forward Matthew Tkachuk scored less than two minutes into the game, and Andrew Mangiapane the eventual game-winning goal later in the first period. Minnesota got a goal from Marcus Foligno to make it a one-goal game, but Elias Lindholm scored 21 seconds later to kill the Wild’s momentum. Minnesota has lost six of seven, and the Wild are now 31-17-and-3. Minnesota visits the Flyers tomorrow.
