Wild Streak Hits Seven in Edmonton

(Edmonton, Alberta)  —  Four different goal scorers dotted the sheet in a Wild 4-1 win over the Oilers.  Joel Eriksson Ek scored on the power play just 71 seconds in to the contest followed by Marcus Foligno later in that same period to up the lead to 2-0.  Cam Talbot made 19 of his 38 saves in the second period as the Oilers made a charge and cut the lead in half.  But Victor Rask and Dmitry Kulikov each tallied in the third to ice the victory.  The Wild have won seven straight, tied for the third longest win streak in franchise history.  The four game trip continues Thursday night in San Jose.

 

Cam Talbot made 38 saves to win his fifth consecutive start. His team has won seven straight, tied for the third longest win streak in franchise history.
