The Minnesota Wild announced today that the organization will host U.S. Bank Kids Day on Sunday, Sept. 25 when it plays the Colorado Avalanche in a preseason contest at Xcel Energy Center at 3 p.m. More than one thousand youth from across the State of Hockey will have the opportunity to experience a National Hockey League game thanks to tickets donated by the organization and Wild Season Ticket Members.
Before the game, kids will have the opportunity to experience the following free, kid-friendly activities:
• Face painting, balloon artists and crazy hair stylists (Section 121/122 and Section 210-212)
• Video game station featuring EA Sports NHL22 and photo booth (Section 215)
• Photos with Nordy from 2-2:30 pm only (Section 125)
In addition, kids will also take center stage in each of the regular Wild in-game elements including making the “Let’s Play Hockey!” call and Kids Day drawings will be displayed on the video board during the first period.
