(St. Paul, MN) — Minnesota defenseman Jared Spurgeon scored twice before the Wild got the game-winner from rookie Nico Sturm in a 3-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks last night in St. Paul. Ryan Suter assisted on both of Spurgeon’s goals giving him 600 points in his N-H-L career. Cam Talbot got the start and made 28 saves. The Wild swept both games from Anaheim and now have won seven of their last nine overall. The win was also the tenth straight at the Xcel Energy Center – adding to the best win streak on home ice in franchise history. The Wild host the St. Louis Blues on tonight at 7 P-M.
