Wild’s Zucker aims to give back with #Give16 (AUDIO)

November 21, 2018 By Scott Peterson

Families from charities and non-profits will fill 16 suites at tonight’s Minnesota Wild game at Xcel Energy Center.  It’s part of the #Give16 campaign started by the Wild’s Jason Zucker and his wife Carly. The charity began as a way to helps raise money for the Zucker Family Suite and Broadcast Studio at the U of M’s Masonic Children’s Hospital, which serves as a respite for families struggling with medical issues. Zucker says “the holidays, a lot of the time, can be very tough on families and patients in the hospital because they don’t get to be at home and we want to give back as much as we can, especially around the holidays and make sure that these kids are having some fun.” Jason says #Give16 is all about helping families take their minds off of what they’re going through.
