A Willmar man has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in exchange for prosecutors dropping charges against his girlfriend and accused accomplice. In court Friday, 35-year-old Caleb Blue described how on October 25th he fatally stabbed 24-year-old David Medellin during an argument after he, the victim and a 17-year-old boy smoked marijuana near a bridge east of Willmar. The victim’s sister in court called Blue a coward, tearfully saying Medellin’s infant son will grow up without a father.
