Additionally, tonight marks his fourth performance this season with 25+ points, five or more rebounds and multiple blocks (27th career).

• Tonight marks Edwards 41st game with at least five three-pointers since 2024-25, tied with Stephen Curry for the most such games in the NBA over that span.

• Julius Randle finished with 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting, a season-high-tying 11 rebounds and five assists, marking his sixth 15+ point/10+ rebound/5+ assist performance this year (100th career), his eighth 15+ point/10+ rebound showing of the season (235th career) and his 33rd 15+ point game this season (525th career). Tonight’s performance also marks Randle’s eighth double-double of the season (289th career).

• With Randle’s 100th career 15+ point/10+ rebound/5+ assist showing tonight, he becomes just the 10th active NBA player to record as many qualifying games.

• Randle has now recorded three consecutive double-doubles against the Heat, tied for his longest active double-double streak versus any opponent (vs. Sacramento Kings: three games, Nov. 14 – Dec. 14, 2025).

• Rudy Gobert closed tonight’s contest with 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting, a game-high 17 rebounds, and two blocks, marking his sixth 10+ point/15+ rebound performance this season (202nd career) and his 16th double-double of the year (492nd career). Tonight marks Gobert’s seventh game with 15+ rebounds this season (237th career), the second-most by any player in the NBA (Nikola Jokić – eight).

• Gobert recorded his third consecutive double-double tonight, his longest double-double streak this season and tied with Donovan Clingan for the NBA’s longest active streak from a center.

• Gobert is averaging 12.4 rebounds per game against the Heat in his career. The only players in NBA history to average more against Miami (min. 5 games) are Dennis Rodman (15.3) and Dwight Howard (15.0).

• With 17 rebounds tonight, Gobert has now hauled in 416 total rebounds, the most in the NBA this season.

Team Notes
• With tonight’s victory, the Timberwolves have now won 13 of their last 16 games against the Heat dating back to the 2018-19 season. This win marks a Minnesota sweep over Miami this season and three-game winning streak that began on March 7, 2025. Minnesota’s .813 (13-3) record against Miami over that span is its best win percentage against any single opponent.

• The Wolves’ 28-point win over the Heat tonight marked Minnesota’s largest margin of victory in the two teams’ 72-game all-time regular series. The Timberwolves move to 36-36 all-time against the Heat, the first time the series has been even since 2004.

• Minnesota has eight wins by 10 or more points against Eastern Conference opponents this season. That is the most such victories by any NBA team against non-conference opponents in 2025-26.

• The Timberwolves held Miami to 94 points tonight, the fewest points Minnesota has allowed this season. This also marks the fourth time the Wolves have held opponents to 100 points or less this year.

• Minnesota ended the night outscoring Miami 62-38 in paint points, marking the third consecutive and 16th game this season in which the Wolves scored 55+ points down low. Since Jan. 1, the Timberwolves lead the NBA with 65.3 paint points per night.

• In scoring 122 points tonight, the Wolves have now scored 115+ points 22 times this season, moving to 20-2 when doing so and boasting the fourth-highest winning percentage of any team in the league when doing so (.909).

• The Timberwolves grabbed a season-high 64 rebounds, the team’s highest mark since totaling 62 boards on Oct. 25, 2023 against the Raptors.

• Minnesota only allowed five points off turnovers tonight, their best mark of the season and the 40th time allowing five or less points off turnovers in franchise history. This is the Wolves’ first time doing so since March 5, 2025 vs. Charlotte.
