MINNEAPOLIS — LaMarcus Aldridge scored 26 points, and San Antonio overcame a nine-point halftime deficit to top Minnesota.
The Spurs swept the four-game season series with the Timberwolves. Kawhi Leonard added 22 points to supplement Aldridge’s big night, and Pau Gasol scored 11 points off the bench for San Antonio.
Karl-Anthony Towns had 25 points and 14 rebounds for Minnesota — his 53rd double-double of the season. Andrew Wiggins scored 22 points for the Timberwolves.
