(Minneapolis, MN) — Orlando’s Aaron Gordon blocked Andrew Wiggins’ three-point attempt at the buzzer as the Magic topped the Timberwolves, 96-93, at the Target Center last night. Wiggins also missed a free throw with 5.6 seconds left that would have tied the game for Minnesota. Nikola Vucevic recorded 18 points and 12 rebounds for Orlando, which has won four in-a-row for the first time since 2012. Elfrid Payton posted 14 points, eight boards and five assists in the victory. Wiggins ended with a game-high 27 points for the Wolves, who have dropped two in-a-row. Fellow starters Kevin Garnett, Ricky Rubio and Karl-Anthony Towns were a combined 3-for-20 from the field. The Wolves play Portland on Saturday.
