Player Notes
• Jaden McDaniels led the way for the Timberwolves tonight with a team-high 25 points on 10-of-16 shooting and game-high four blocks for his first 25+ point outing of the season (ninth career). McDaniels is just the 11th player in franchise history to record a 25+ point/4+ block game.
• McDaniels scored 10+ points in the first (11 points: 4-of-5 shooting) and third quarter (10 points: 4-of-4 shooting). He has now recorded 10 or more points in a frame 23 times in his career.
• Julius Randle notched 24 points on 8-of-15 shooting, a team-high-tying seven rebounds, three assists, a team-high two steals and one block, marking his second 20+ point/5+ rebound outing of the season (316th career). Tonight is his 63rd career game logging 20+ points/5+ rebounds and multiple steals.
• In 27:21 minutes off the bench, Naz Reid registered 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting and a team-high-tying seven rebounds, marking his first 15+ point/5+ rebound performance of the season (85th career).
• Donte DiVincenzo finished the night with 12 points, knocking down three shots from deep, three rebounds, a team-high-tying four assists and a steal. He has now recorded at least one steal in all four games this season, matching the longest such streak in franchise history since Rudy Gobert accomplished the feat to begin the 2023-24 season.
Team Notes
• Minnesota scored 30 points in the first quarter and 35 points in the second quarter, marking their seventh and eighth 30+ point quarters of the season. The Wolves are now tied with the Los Angeles Lakers and Toronto Raptors for the most 30+ point quarters in the NBA this season.
• The Timberwolves scored a season-high 56 points in the paint tonight, marking the team’s second consecutive 50+ point performance in the painted area.
