POSTGAME NOTES
MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES 124, MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES 96
Game 2 of the First Round of the NBA Playoffs
April 19, 2022

TIMBERWOLVES NOTES
• Anthony Edwards finished Game 2 with 20 points on 7-of-16 shooting, including 4-of-10 from deep and six rebounds, his second straight 20+ point game in the 2022 NBA Playoffs. Edwards joins Stephon Marbury (April 24-26, 1997 at Houston) as the only Timberwolves players to score 20+ points in each of his first two career playoff games.

• After two games, Edwards has totaled 56 points, good for the most points in two consecutive playoff games by a Timberwolves player since Latrell Sprewell had 61 points in two straight from May 14-16, 2005 against Sacramento.

• Karl-Anthony Towns tallied his second straight playoff double-double (fifth career), ending the game with 15 points and a game-high 11 rebounds. Towns has now collected a double-double in five consecutive playoff games and has grabbed 10+ in all seven career playoff games.
