Wolves fall in New Orleans

January 1, 2019 By Minnesota News Network

The Pelicans pushed past the Timberwolves with a 35-point fourth quarter to win 123-114 in New Orleans.  Julius Randle had 33 points and 11 rebounds and Jrue Holiday added 26 and eight assists in the win.  New Orleans was without its best player, as Anthony Davis did not suit up due to an illness.  The Pels have won two of their last three games.  Karl-Anthony Towns led the way for Minnesota, posting 28 points and 17 rebounds.  Tyus Jones added 15 points and 13 assists in the loss.  The Timberwolves had won three of their previous four games.
