Player Notes
• Anthony Edwards led the way for the Wolves in Phoenix, finishing with a game-high 44 points on 12-of-22 shooting, including 6-of-14 from deep, five rebounds and seven assists, marking his sixth 40+ point game of the season (16th career). His six 40+ point games tie Kevin Love in 2013-14 for the most 40+ point games in a single season in franchise history.
• With his third three-pointer of the night, Edwards (244) passed Malik Beasley (240) for the most threes in a single season in franchise history.
• With his five rebounds and seven assists to go along with his 44 points, tonight marked Edwards’ third 40+ point/5+ rebound/5+ assist game of the season and the seventh of his career, extending his franchise record.
• Edwards finished the night a perfect 14-of-14 from the free throw line, his most makes from the free throw line without a miss in his career.
• Tonight marked the third time in Edwards’ career that he’s scored 40+ points on the road in Phoenix (including playoffs), becoming the eighth player in the NBA to do so.

• In 27:08 minutes of action off the bench, Donte DiVincenzo shined tonight, finishing with 24 points on 8-of-14 shooting, including a season-high 8-of-13 from deep and career-high-tying five steals. Tonight marks DiVincenzo’s fifth 20+ point game of the season (37th career) and first career 20+ point/5+ steal game.
• DiVincenzo becomes the first player in NBA history to finish a game with 8+ three-pointers and 5+ steals off the bench and is just the seventh overall player in NBA history to record 8+ three-pointers and 5+ steals in a game.
• In his first action since Jan. 30, Julius Randle returned to finish with 20 points on 8-of-14 shooting, including 2-of-5 from three and six rebounds, his 27th 20+ point game of the season (322nd career) and 24th 20+ point/5+ rebound game of the season (307th career).
Team Notes
• With tonight’s win, Minnesota has now won consecutive regular season games against the Suns on the road and have now won seven straight against Phoenix (including playoffs). This marks the first time the Wolves have won two or more straight games on the road against the Suns since the 2016-17 season.
• Led by DiVincenzo’s career-high-tying five steals, the Timberwolves finished tonight’s game with a franchise-high-tying 18 steals. The Wolves had 18 steals on Oct. 20, 2021 vs. Houston. After having 17 steals last game at Utah along with 18 steals tonight, this marks the first time in franchise history the Wolves have had 15+ steals in back-to-back games.
• Minnesota forced 22 Phoenix turnovers tonight and converted those into 44 points off turnovers. Tonight marks the second straight game and 15th time this season forcing 20+ turnovers. The Wolves’ 40 points off turnovers are the most in a game in franchise history in the Play-By-Play era (since 1996-97).
• The Timberwolves finished the night connecting on 21 three-pointers, the second straight game and 10th time this season finishing a game with 20 or more threes. Minnesota moves to 8-2 when doing so. The 10 games with 20+ threes are the most in a single season in franchise history (eight in 2021-22).
