Player Notes
• In 42:01 minutes off the bench, Ayo Dosunmu finished the night with a career-high (regular or postseason) 43 points on 13-of-17 shooting, including 5-of-5 from three and a perfect 12-of-12 from the free throw line and four rebounds, tied for the second-highest playoff point total in franchise history (Anthony Edwards: 2x MR: April 27, 2025 vs. Los Angeles Lakers).
• Dosunmu becomes the first player in NBA history (regular season or playoffs) to record 40+ points on 75.0%+ shooting, making 5+ threes without a miss and 10+ free throws without a miss (as a starter or off the bench). Prior to tonight’s performance, the last player to come off the bench in a playoff game and score 41+ points was Seattle’s Fred Brown, who scored 45 off the bench on April 15, 1976.
• Dosunmu is the first player in franchise history and 10th player in NBA Playoff history to come off the bench and make 5+ threes without a miss, he is the first to do so since Miami’s Delon Wright on April 2, 2024 at Boston.
• Tonight marked Dosunmu’s second consecutive 25+ point playoff game off the bench, becoming the first player in franchise history to record consecutive 25+ point playoff games off the bench, just the 18th player in NBA Playoff history to do so and the first since Golden State’s Stephen Curry recorded an NBA record three consecutive 25+ point games off the bench from April 18 – April 24, 2022.
• Dosunmu has now tallied 68 points through his first four playoff games with the Wolves, all of which have come off the bench. Since 2000, only Dallas’ Nick Van Exel (79 points: May 8, 2003 – May 10, 2003) has recorded more points off the bench in consecutive playoff games.
• Naz Reid came off the bench to record 27:45 minutes of action, finishing with 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting and nine rebounds, marking his second 10+ point/5+ rebound game off the bench during this year’s playoffs (13th playoff career).
• Julius Randle added 15 points and nine rebounds in Game 4, his fourth 15+ point/5+ rebound game of the 2026 NBA Playoffs (24th playoff career). Randle joins Anthony Edwards and Kevin Garnett as the only players in franchise history to record multiple four-game playoff streaks with 15+ point/5+ rebounds after recording five consecutive such games from May 8 – May 20, 2025.
Team Notes
• In holding the Nuggets to 96 points tonight, it marked the second consecutive and 14th playoff game in the last three seasons holding their opponent under 100 points, tied with the Oklahoma City Thunder for the second-most such games in the NBA during that span. Only the Boston Celtics (18 games) have recorded more such games in the playoffs during that span.
• The Wolves bench scored a franchise playoff record 76 points in tonight’s win, accounting for 67.9% of their points, the second-highest percentage by any team in a playoff win since the NBA began tracking starters in 1970-71 (Dallas Mavericks vs. Los Angeles Lakers: May 8, 2011; Western Conference Semifinals, Game4 70.5%).
• Led by Rudy Gobert’s game-high-tying 15 rebounds, the Wolves finished the night with 50 rebounds, including 16 offensive rebounds. Tonight marked the 12th playoff game in franchise history in which Minnesota grabbed 16+ offensive boards and their second consecutive 50+ rebound playoff game, the first time in franchise playoff history the recorded back-to-back games with 50+ boards.
