With 13 career 40+ point games, Edwards ties Karl-Anthony Towns for the most 40+ point games in franchise history and becomes the 17th player in NBA history aged 23 or younger to record 13+ games with 40+ points (Anthony Davis and Gilbert Arenas).
• Tonight marked Edwards’ 11th game this season with 6+ made threes (30th career), tied with Malik Beasley for the most such games in the NBA this season. No other player in franchise history has recorded 11+ games with 6+ made threes in a single season.

• In going 17-of-18 from the line tonight, Edwards ties his career-high for made free throws (Nov. 24, 2023, vs. Sacramento) and free throw attempts (4x; MR: Jan. 20, 2025, at Memphis). Edwards becomes the 12th player in NBA history to record 45+ points/6+ 3FGM/5+ rebounds while shooting 90.0%+ from the free throw line (min. 15 FTA). He joins Towns as the only other player in franchise history to record such a game (March 14, 2022, at San Antonio; 60 points, seven 3FGM, 17 rebounds, 16-of-17 FTA).

• Edwards scored 14 of his 49 points in the first quarter, 20 points in the third quarter and 30 points in the second half of tonight’s contest. Edwards has now scored 10+ points in 47 quarters this season (271st career). Tonight also marked his first 30+ point half of the season, tying his career-high for points in a half (April 9, 2024, vs. Washington; second half) and joining Towns (three 30+ point halves) as the only other in franchise history to record multiple 30+ point halves.

• Naz Reid ended the night with 22 points on 8-of-19 shooting, knocking down four shots from deep, 10 rebounds, six assists, a steal and two blocks, marking his second consecutive 20+ point game after scoring 30 points against the Kings in his previous outing on Feb. 3 and tying his career-high for most consecutive 20+ point games (4x; MR: April 2 – April 3, 2024).

• Tonight marked Reid’s third double-double of the season (20th career) and his first 20+ point/10+ rebound/5+ assist game of the season (second career). Tonight also marks Reid’s second career game with 20+ points/10+ rebounds/5+ assists/2+ blocks/4+ 3PM) joining Towns (five games) as the only other player in franchise history to record multiple games with 20+ points/10+ rebounds/5+ assists/2+ blocks/4+ 3PM).

Gobert becomes the 14th player in NBA history to record eight or more such games, tying Kevin Garnett and Shaquille O’Neal.

• Gobert has shot the ball extremely well against the Bulls since the 2018-19 season (12 games), shooting 73.6% (81-of-110) from the field, the highest player mark against any opponent in the NBA during that span.
