Karl-Anthony Towns

(Minneapolis, MN) — Golden State’s Draymond Green filled the stat sheet with 24 points, nine rebounds and six assists as the Warriors topped the Minnesota Timberwolves 109-104 at the Target Center last night. Stephen Curry chipped in with 19 points, 11 assists and seven boards for Golden State, which improved to 63-and-7. The Warriors are now just nine wins shy of tying the NBA record set by the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls. Karl-Anthony Towns totaled 24 points and 11 boards for the Wolves, who have lost three of four. Andrew Wiggins scored 25 points in the setback. Minnesota and Golden State traded the lead for much of the fourth quarter, but the Warriors closed the deal. The T’Wolves host Sacramento tomorrow night.
