Player Notes
• Julius Randle led the way for the Timberwolves in Game 2, finishing with a Playoff-career-high 27 points on a Playoff-career-best 9-of-17 shooting, including 2-of-4 from deep, four rebounds and a team-high six assists. Tonight marked Randle’s first 20+ point game of the 2025 NBA Playoffs and the seventh of his career.
• Through two Playoff games with the Timberwolves, Randle has amassed 43 points, the fifth-most points by a Wolves player through their first two Playoff games.

• Anthony Edwards ended tonight’s game against the Lakers with 25 points on 10-of-22 shooting and six rebounds, his second 20+ point game of the 2025 NBA Playoffs (22nd career) and his second 20+ point/5+ rebound game of the 2025 NBA Playoffs (16th career).
• Dating back to the 2024 NBA Playoffs, Edwards has tallied six straight 20+ point games, joining Kevin Garnett (3x; MR: seven straight Playoff games from April 24, 2002-April 29, 2003) as the only Timberwolves players to score 20+ points in six straight playoff games.
• Edwards has now scored 15 or more points in all 29 career Playoff games, the fifth-most consecutive Playoff games with 15+ points to begin an NBA career in league history.

• Rudy Gobert finished tonight’s game with six rebounds, his 35th consecutive road playoff game with five or more boards, the longest streak since Dwight Howard had 49 rebounds between 2006-07 – 2019-20.
• With one block on the night, Jaden McDaniels has now had at least one block or steal in all 24 of his career postseason games, the longest active such streak in the NBA. He trails only Garnett (28 straight) for the longest such streak in team history.

• The Timberwolves held the Lakers to 94 points in tonight’s contest, the second straight Playoff game holding their opponent to 95 points or fewer. Minnesota is the first team during the 2025 NBA Playoffs to hold its opponent to 95 points or fewer in consecutive games.
