Player Notes
• Anthony Edwards led the way for the Timberwolves in Cleveland tonight, finishing with a game-high 44 points on 13-of-28 shooting, including a game-high 8-of-15 from deep and six rebounds. Tonight marks Edwards’ third straight 40+ point game and fifth of the season (15th career).
• Edwards is the first player in Timberwolves history and first in the NBA this season to score 40+ points in three straight games. The last player to do so before Edwards was Devin Booker on Jan. 24-28, 2024 and It’s the seventh such streak since the start of the 2020-21 season.
• Edwards is the fifth player 23 or younger to post three straight 40-point games since the merger in 1976-77.

• With Edwards scoring 40+ points for the fifth time this season, he ties Andrew Wiggins (five in 2016-17) for the second-most 40+ point games in a single season in franchise history. He trails only Kevin Love (six in 2013-14) for the single season franchise record.
• Tonight marked the fourth time this season (seventh career) that Edwards connected on 8+ three-pointers, trailing only Stephen Curry (five) for the most such games in the NBA this season. Tonight marked the fourth game of Edwards’ career that he’s finished with 40+ points with eight or more threes, tied with Ray Allen, LeBron James and Luka Dončić for the 11th all-time for such games in NBA history.

Team Notes
• By scoring 107 points tonight, the Timberwolves extended their run of consecutive 100+ point games to 30, the third-longest active streak in the NBA.
• Lef by Jaden McDaniel’s game-high four steals, Minnesota ended tonight’s game with 10 steals, the 17th time this season finishing a game with 10+ steals.
