• Anthony Edwards led the way for the Timberwolves tonight against Miami with a team-high 22 points, five rebounds, a team-high-tying six assists and two steals, marking his 10th 20+ point game of the season (201st career) and his third 20+ point/5+ rebound/5+ assist game of the season (70th career). Edwards’ 70 career 20+ point/5+ rebound/5+ assist games are the third most such games in franchise history (Kevin Garnett: 291 games; Karl-Anthony Towns 102 games).
• In knocking down four shots from deep tonight, Edwards has made 54 threes through the first 10 games of the season good for the third-most made threes through the first 10 games of a season in NBA history. Edwards joins Stephen Curry as the only other player in NBA history to record 50+ threes through their first 10 games of the season.

• In scoring 22 points and knocking down four shots from deep, Edwards extends his streak of such games to 10, the third most such games to start a season in NBA history. Only Curry (13 games; 2023-24 and 12 games; 2022-23) has had more such games to start a season.
• Edwards’ 22 points gives him a total of 283 points through the first 10 games of the season, breaking his own record (276 points in 2023-24) for most points through 10 games of a season in franchise history.
• Julius Randle finished the night with 17 points, six rebounds and a team-high-tying six assists, marking his fourth 15+ point/5+ rebound/5+ assist game of the season (166th career). Randle becomes just the fifth forward in the NBA this season to record 4+ 15+ point/5+ rebound/5+ assist games this season.
• Randle has now tallied 211 points, 67 rebounds and 46 assists, joining Chuck Person as the only other player in franchise history to record 200+ points/65+ rebounds/45+ assists in their first 10 games with the Timberwolves.
• Naz Reid added 15 points on 5-of-11 shooting, including 4-of-7 from deep, marking his ninth 10+ point performance off the bench this season (147th career). In knocking down four shots from deep, Reid is one of just four players and the only big man in the NBA this season to record 3+ games off the bench with 10+ points and 4+ made threes.
Team Notes
• The Wolves forced the Heat into 23 turnovers on the night, which Minnesota converted into 20 points, marking the third consecutive game and fifth game on the season in which the Timberwolves scored 20+ points off of turnovers. The Timberwolves are now one of eight teams in the NBA this season to record 3+ consecutive games with 20+ points off turnovers and it is the first time Minnesota has put together such a streak since Nov. 1 – Nov. 8, 2023.
• Minnesota knocked down 13 shots from deep tonight, marking the ninth time this season the Wolves have made 12+ threes. The Timberwolves have now made 164 threes through their first 10 games of the season, the most made threes through 10 games in franchise history and good for the fourth most made threes through 10 games in NBA history.
