Player Notes
•Donte DiVincenzo led the way for the Timberwolves tonight with a team-high-tying 28 points on 9-of-19 shooting, including 6-of-12 from three, six rebounds and a game-high and season-high-tying nine assists, marking his third 25+ point game of the season (16th career) and his second 25+ point/5+ rebound/5+ assist game of the season (fifth career). DiVincenzo scored 10 of his 28 points in the third quarter, marking his seventh 10+ point quarter of the season (43rd career).

•Tonight marks DiVincenzo’s second game of the season with 25+ points/5+ rebounds/5+ assists/6+ 3PM while shooting 50.0% or better from three, joining Kevin Love (two games) and Anthony Edwards (six games) as the only players in franchise history to record multiple such games.

•Since joining the starting lineup on Jan. 6 vs. LA Clippers (six games), DiVincenzo has averaged 17.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game. In that span, Minnesota is 4-2.

•Edwards ended the night with a team-high-tying 28 points on 7-of-19 shooting, including 4-of-9 from three and 10-of-11 from the free-throw line, his 21st 25+ point game of the season (161st career). He grabbed eight rebounds against the Warriors, marking his 17th 25+ point/5+ rebound game of the season (113th career).

•Edwards’ 161 career 25+ point games rank third in franchise history, and he is now seven games shy of tying Shaquille O’Neal for fifth all-time in NBA history for 25+ point games by a player aged 23 or younger.

•In going 10-of-11 from the free throw line tonight, it marked Edwards’ third game this season making 10+ free throws (16th career). Edwards ties Tony Campbell and Jimmy Butler for the sixth-most games in franchise history making at least 10 free throws.

•Naz Reid added 15 points on 5-of-13 shooting, including 3-of-7 from three, six rebounds and a block, notching his 18th 15+ point game of the season (94th career) and his 10th 15+ point/5+ rebound game of the season (68th career), all of which have come off the bench. Since the calendar turned to 2025, no one in the NBA has scored more points off the bench than Reid, entering tonight with 122 points as a reserve.

•At the 3:09 minute mark in the first quarter, Reid knocked down his first three of the night and 73rd made three this season (467th career). Reid has now made at least one three-pointer in 11 consecutive games since Dec. 27 at Houston, the fourth time in his career he has tallied at least one shot from deep in 11 consecutive games (career long: 28 games; Dec. 26, 2023 – Feb. 23, 2024).

Team Notes
•Despite coming up short tonight, the Timberwolves move to 21-19 through 40 games this season. The Wolves have now recorded 20+ wins through the first 40 games of a season for the second straight season (2023-24; 29-11), the first time stringing together back-to-back such seasons since the 2003-04 and 2004-05 seasons.

•Led by DiVincenzo’s six made threes, the Timberwolves finished the night going 17-of-37 from three, the 22nd game this season they made 15+ threes, tying the Chicago Bulls for the third-most such games in the NBA this season.

•Minnesota outscored Golden State 25-16 in second chance points, marking the 19th time this season the Wolves have outpaced their opponents in the category and the sixth time this season scoring 20+ second chance points.

•The Wolves shot 22-of-29 from the free throw line tonight, marking the 10th time this season they made 20+ shots from the foul line and the 12th time this season attempting 25+ free throws.
