• Anthony Edwards led the way for the Timberwolves today with a team-high 21 points, six assists and a game-high-tying two blocks, marking his fifth consecutive and 44th 20+ point game of the season (299th career). Today also marked his 16th 20+ point/5+ assist game of the season (136th career). Only Kevin Garnett (294) has recorded more 20+ point/5+ assist games in franchise history.
• Playing in his 25th road game of this season, Edwards has now totaled 809 points on the road through the start of the 2025-26 campaign, the most points through the first 25 road games of a season in franchise history. This marks just the 10th time an NBA player has scored 800+ points in the first 25 road games of a season since the 1996-97 season.

• Today marked Edwards’ 15th consecutive 20+ point road game, the second longest such streak in franchise history (Karl-Anthony Towns: 18 games).
• Jaden McDaniels added 20 points on 9-of-12 shooting marking his career-best 16th 20+ point game of the season (44th career) and his eighth such game this season on 75%+ shooting. McDaniels’ eight games with 20+ points on 75%+ shooting are the most in the NBA this season.
• In 15:35 minutes off the bench, Bones Hyland finished with 18 points on 6-of-7 shooting, including 3-of-3 from deep, two rebounds and two assists, marking his sixth 15+ point game of the season (53rd career). Hyland becomes the eighth player in franchise history to come off the bench and score 15+ points on 85%+ shooting without a miss from the three-point line (Minimum three three-point attempts).
• Hyland scored 15 of his 18 points in the first half of today’s contest on a perfect 5-of-5 shooting, marking a new season-high for points in a half and his highest point total in a half since scoring 24 points against the Phoenix Suns on April 10, 2024. This is the sixth time Hyland has scored 15+ in a half in his career and ties his career-high for most shots without a miss to start a game (Oct. 27, 2023 at Utah; 5-of-5).
• Donte DiVincenzo finished with 17 points on 5-of-10 shooting, all from deep and five assists, marking his 26th 15+ point game of the season (137th career), his 11th 15+ point/5+ assist game of the season (28th career) and his 14th game with 5+ made threes (60th). DiVincenzo is one of only nine players in the NBA this season to record 14+ games with 5+ three-pointers.
• Today marked the ninth road game this season in which DiVincenzo has made 5+ three-pointers. Only Kon Knueppel and teammate Edwards (each with 12 games) have recorded more road games with 5+ threes in the NBA this year.
• DiVincenzo went 4-of-4 from deep in the third quarter of today’s matchup, marking his fourth quarter this season with 4+ made threes. His four such quarters are the most by any player in the NBA this season and one shy of tying Edwards for the most threes made in a quarter in the NBA during the 2025-26 campaign.
Team Notes
• Following today’s 117-108 win in Denver, the Wolves are now 7-3 in Denver over the last three seasons including the playoffs. Their seven wins and .700 winning percentage are both the highest marks by any team in the NBA in Denver over that span.
• Today’s win marked the Wolves’ fourth consecutive road win, the longest road winning streak of the season and their longest such streak since winning four straight on the road from March 2-12, 2025.
• Minnesota outscored Denver 36-19 in the second quarter of today’s game. Their +17 point differential was tied for the biggest second quarter point differential against the Nuggets in the 153-game all-time series between the teams and tied for the Nuggets’ third-worst point differential in a single quarter this season.
• Led by (DiVincenzo: 17 points/five assists, Edwards: 21 points/six assists, Hyland: 18 points/two assists, McDaniels: 20 points/three assists, Julius Randle: 14 points/seven assists and Naz Reid: 11 points/two assists), today marked the 11th game this season in which Minnesota has had 6+ players with 10+ points and 2+ assists. Only the Golden State Warriors and Miami Heat (each with 12) have had more such games in the NBA this season.
• Led by DiVincenzo, Dosunmu, Gobert and McDaniels, who each had two steals, the Wolves finished with 11 steals, marking the 22nd game this season in which Minnesota recorded 10+ steals, moving to 18-4 when doing so. The Wolves are one of six teams in the NBA this season to have 18+ wins when collecting 10+ steals.
• Minnesota finished the night shooting 54.1% (46-of-85) from the field, the 22nd time this season they shot 50% or better from the field, moving to 20-2 when doing so.
