Player Notes
• Anthony Edwards led the way for the Timberwolves tonight against the Thunder, finishing with 20 points on 6-of-12 shooting, including 4-of-7 from deep and seven rebounds. Tonight marked Edwards’ 26th 20+ point game of the season (217th career) and his 19th 20+ point/5+ rebound game of the season (145th career).
• Tonight marked Edwards’ 22nd game with 4+ threes this season, the most in the NBA. He’s now totaled 100 career games with four or more triples, extending his franchise record for such games.
• Edwards is now up to 92.6% (50-of-54) from the free throw line on the road this season including ending tonight’s game 4-of-4. That percentage (92.6%) is on track to be the second-highest mark in Timberwolves history in a season (93.3%, 56-of-60, Mike Conley in 2023-24) among players with 50+ attempts.
• Edwards finishes off the 2024 calendar year totaling 2,112 points, marking the most points scored by a Timberwolves player in a single calendar year. His 2,112 points this year were the third-most points scored in the NBA this calendar year.
• In 32:55 minutes of action off the bench, Naz Reid ended the game with 19 points, on 8-of-14 shooting, eight rebounds and a season-high-tying three blocks, his 13 15+ point game of the season (89th career). Tonight marked Reid’s 20th career game with 3+ blocks off the bench, good for second in franchise history in such games, trailing only Eddie Griffin (28).
• Donte DiVincenzo ended tonight’s game in Oklahoma City with 10 points, four rebounds and five assists in 29:50 minutes of action off the bench, his third 10+ point/5+ assist game of the season (34th career).
• DiVincenzo’s connected on two three-pointers tonight and finished the month of December with 33 threes, the fourth most in the NBA in December. With his five assists tonight, he’s amassed 47 assists this month and joins Payton Pritchard (Boston) as the only players in the NBA this month with 30+ threes and 40+ assists off the bench.
